A person who does not look back to where he came from would not be able to reach his destination (English translation of Ang hindi lumingon sa pinanggalingan ay hindi makarating sa paroroonan.)
– Dr. Jose P. Rizal

The quote "No history, no self. Know history, know self." is a very loose interpretation of the above quote.

Made You Think

By Joanne Trinh, FINDink Contributor

Since then, I’ve been able to work on personal and collaborative projects that have allowed me to continually grow my creative process and make others think.

Something Beautiful

By Claudia Uy, FINDink Contributor

I made this piece throughout the course of several months as a way to calm down. Art has always been a way for me to unwind and has been my way of escaping pressures of life. Art has also been the best way I have been able to communicate with an audience, and I think that it is very inspiring how people can create beautiful, yet powerful things. As an artist, I want to be able to create something beautiful, whether it be colorful and joyful, or dark and somber. I want to be able to create meaningful artwork.
