The Short Film Contest

Values
The FIND leaders of the National Dialogue 2007, Pagtuturo, strive to instill the values of education, leadership, service, and vision in the Filipino collegiate community.

Purpose
The FIND leaders of the National Dialogue 2007, Pagtuturo, shall award a rising Filipino community filmmaker(s) for the following purposes:

• To promote Filipino education
• To support leadership involvement in the Filipino collegiate community
• To encourage service to the Filipino community at large
• To instill a creative vision for Filipinos in America

Short Film Contest Judging
A maximum of eight films will be viewed at Dialogue for final deliberation. If more than eight short films are submitted by the submission due date, judging will be conducted in two parts: (1) Preliminary Judging and (2) Final Deliberation (See “Judging Criteria”, p. 6).

Contest
Filmmakers of the Filipino Intercollegiate Networking Dialogue, Inc. (FIND) are invited to create a short film that will be shown on the Friday night of National Dialogue 2007, Pagtuturo. The short film will emphasize the Dialogue’s motto:

“The world is our stage, the world is our audience, and we are the actors.”
