2006 commemorates the 108th Anniversary of this event. Filipinos andFilipino-Americans will gather in New York City for the 17th year in celebrating this historic event with the Philippine Independence DayCouncil, Inc. (PIDC). This year also commemorates the 100th year of Filipino Migration to America.
